Queen of Hoxton is a top Shoreditch bar and club with East London’s finest live music and DJ’s. Is vintage fashion your thing? Old Spitalfields market is a firm favorite with lots of stalls selling jewelry, retro home furnishings, designer and non-designer clothes and more. There is also an abundance of food options and bars surrounding the market. Hoxton Street Monster Supplies

This intriguing store is part of the Ministry of Stories – an initiative that sees professional writers mentor young people in the art of story writing. Hoxton Street Monster Supplies offers bespoke and everyday items for the living, dead and undead. It works to encourage wild creativity and hopes to transform lives through writing. The shop itself is a direct reflection of the beyond outlandish tone of the workshops and  ghoulish treats on offer from the ‘thickest human snot’ to Werewolf biscuits and cubed ‘earwax’. This might just be the strangest shop in London, will you be brave enough to visit?


Word on the streets of Hoxton is that, Orange Buffalo serves the BEST buffalo wings in London. Located in the Truman Brewery Car Park with its four levels of sauces to rival Nando’s Peri-scale starting with the sensible Original  to the scorching Viper, The Orange Buffalo is undoubtedly one to add to your list of eateries this summer!

The foodies heaven returns to Wimbledon Park for the 6th year running this weekend, with over 45 stalls offering a wide range of food and drink including artisan bread and pastries, cheeses and charcuterie and hot food from all over world, visitors will enjoy a taste  a worldwide feast with just a bus ride!

If that’s not enough, the Festival Kitchen will have a full programme of renowned chefs and food experts giving cookery demonstrations, talks and tastings. With an even later festival end time of 7pm on Saturday and 8pm on Sunday, a live DJ and beers, ales, cider, gin and Prosecco to sample there really is something for everyone!

The Southbank Centre Winter Festival has returned with a variety of fun festive shows, performances, pop-ups and activities following a Nordic theme. Their annual Wintertime Christmas market is back with a splash of magic and the finest stalls where you can spoil yourself rotten with baubles, mince pies and stocking fillers for all the family.

This winter Southbank are also bringing you something very special, in tune with the Noordic theme – a rooftop Finnish sauna pop up is now located on the Queen Elizabeth Roof Gardens, but only for a limited time, so hurry!
