NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL

With a rare 29 DEGREES – sound systems, dance, Curry Goat that feels like home, trumpeters, masquerade, street food, steel drums, dancehall, fluffy feathers galore and more, can the festivities start already??
This year you might want to check out the popular Red Bull Soundsystem at Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park, where the likes of dancehall queen Spice will be performing.

WIMBLEDON PARK FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL
Saturday 24 – Monday 26 , August 2019 – Wimbledon Park
The foodies heaven returns to Wimbledon Park for the 6th year running this weekend, with over 45 stalls offering a wide range of food and drink including artisan bread and pastries, cheeses and charcuterie and hot food from all over world, visitors will enjoy a taste a worldwide feast with just a bus ride!
If that’s not enough, the Festival Kitchen will have a full programme of renowned chefs and food experts giving cookery demonstrations, talks and tastings. With an even later festival end time of 7pm on Saturday and 8pm on Sunday, a live DJ and beers, ales, cider, gin and Prosecco to sample there really is something for everyone!
