Rooftops are all the range this winter, as former carpark transforms into the magical “Skylight”, a rooftop playground in Tobacco Dock. Skylight is offering festive fun for the winter season so it’s time to get your skates on from November 2nd! That figure skating dream can now come to pass at the Wapping rooftop, stay on trend at London’s first rooptop ice rink!
Skating hasn’t quite sold you? Well there’s ice hockey shooting, tantalising street food, fondue, festive tipples and more with a beautiful view of the city skyline.

SOCIAL FUN AND GAMES CLUB @ ROOF EAST
After a short hiatus Social Fun and Games Club brings to you London’s only rooftop curling club, ever so smoothly sliding its way back to its sky-high residency at Roof East featuring six neon-lit, synthetic ice curling lanes, accompanied by a toe tapping, and hand jiving soundtrack. Social Fun and Games Club is renowned for their stellar hospitality, so it is no surprise that hosts will be on hand to deliver drinks direct to the lanes.. result!
If this wasn’t enough to get you skating down there before I could say Eskimo’s, guests can get now hire and enjoy 80’s inspired après-ski lodges for a sum of up to 8 people per igloo, whilst sipping hot cocktails. THE SOUTHBANK CENTRE WINTER FESTIVAL @ SOUTHBANK CENTRE
The Southbank Centre Winter Festival has returned with a variety of fun festive shows, performances, pop-ups and activities following a Nordic theme. Their annual Wintertime Christmas market is back with a splash of magic and the finest stalls where you can spoil yourself rotten with baubles, mince pies and stocking fillers for all the family.
This winter Southbank are also bringing you something very special, in tune with the Noordic theme – a rooftop Finnish sauna pop up is now located on the Queen Elizabeth Roof Gardens, but only for a limited time, so hurry! If you ever needed one, now you’ve got an excuse to treat yourself at the most magical time of the year!

BONFIRE NIGHT
Remember remember the 5th of November. Marshmallows, Bonfires and all the things you admire.
As the autumn evenings get chillier, The first week of November comes in with a quite literal bang. Over the weekend of the 4th, many parks across London are offering an evening of a show stopping array of fireworks, blankets, mulled wine and more. Wrap up warm, grab the hand of a close one and head to one of the many bonfire displays.
